Due to the topograghy of the site, great care was taken to blend the new dwelling seamlessly within the surrounding built enviromnment, to achieve privacy for the new inhabitants and the surrounding residential area.
The project was granted approval in late 2015 with Building Regulations and SAP calculations meeting current requirements completed shortly after. The project is on site and is due for completion 2016.

Simply Architectural were commissioned to provide an extension to an existing dwelling, within the Permitted Development Rights of the area. The extension would be a single storey extension to the rear of the property. The site had a significant fall from front to back, therefore the extension would be built at Lower Ground level, this posed access problems for the contractor, so measures were designed within the proposals to make the construction as simple as possible
Due to the brief requiring significant areas of glazing, great care was taken to calculate and work within the brief to accomplish the necessary environmental standards.
The project was approved by Building Control and work commenced with very little inconvenience to the clients or the contractor. The project is now complete.

The original property in the past was witness to many unsympathetic alterations and was ultimately divided into two dwellings and in turn received further modern unsympathetic extensions. S
Simply Architectural Limited have developed plans and concepts , ultimately achieving Planning Approval for reconnecting the dwelling to form one luxurious family home. Approval was granted for external alterations and internal alterations to return the building to its former glory, with the addition of rationalised floor plans and sympathetic accommodation additions.
The project was approved and the alterations begun. The project will be complete in summer 2016.

Simply Architectural were approached to develop a concept for the development of land in the Isle of Man. The site had a considerable amount of family history and the clients wished to develop the area to provide for the families continued use. The project has taken a considerable amount of time, following the initial approval, the plans were then subjected to an appeal, which was successfully overturned. The project is now due to commence on site in the spring of 2016.

From the outset a sympathetic approach was taken to the design to achieve a building which would reflect the immediate area and respond to the surroundings and wider village. Privacy was paramount, while also maximising the views and the site bathed in sunlight.
